Congratulations to our 4th years who came in the top three in the final of the National ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist of the Year 2022.
This is an all-Ireland environmental award that recognises and rewards young people who raise awareness and improve the environment. The girls' entry on the important of enriching the biodiversity of our hedgerows and the creation of a wild pond was highly commended by the judges. Congratulations to all the group especially the team leaders Aylsia Carroll, Mia Jervis, Angeline Duffy and Chloe Buckley. Many thanks to our amazing caretaker Paul for his help also and Ms Ryan who leads this important element of our school.
